Following on from The Great Eastern Flyin 2005 this is one of Australia's best flyins. 

Aircraft from many locations flock to Evans Head Memorial Aerodrome every year during the New Years Day Long Weekend. The aircraft handling displays are magnificent and atmosphere is more like an airshow. The production contains rare WW11 images and interviews with the pilots of the following aircraft - Mustang P51, Supermarine Spitfire, Fisher Koala, Ryan and the CT4. Also world class model flying is included. Sadly the future of the Evans Head Memorial Aerodrome is at risk of being closed by developers and the Richmond Valley Council.
